Camden Council in London is seeking permission to ban agent boards unless they have planning permission. The council say they have received over 1000 complaints about such boards in the last 5 years.
Their Planning Committee Chair has said “The boards are cluttering our streets, often left for months on end, effectively free advertising.”
In an Estate Agent Today poll, 61% of agents disagree that it’s time to ban the boards!
