House Prices To Rise Whoever Wins Election Says Tony Blair Institute

The Tony Blair Institute has published a briefing on the upcoming election and the housing policies being proposed.

The briefing questions both Labour & Conservative housing plans — in particular those relating to increased housing supply; saying “significantly higher rates of supply do not offer a real solution to any aspect of the housing crisis.”

The brief also indicates that housing prices will rise no matter who is elected. They indicate that Lib Dem proposals could see a 16% rise in house prices by 2030, 19% under Labour and 26% under the Tories.
