Rightmove Reports Highest January Asking Price Increase In 18 Years

Rightmove has reported a 2.3% increase in January asking prices – the highest January increase they’ve seen in 18 years.

They have also revealed that demand is up 15% since December 13th. The demand increase led to a 7.4% increase in the number of sales agreed in the same period (13th December 2019 – 15th January 2020)

Speaking on the increase, Mile Shipside, a Rightmove Director, said the market may be “in store for an active spring market” as more certainty returns to the market.
