Boris Johnson Allegedly Vetoes Mansion Tax

Despite recent rumours of the opposite, it has this week been announced that the government will not announce a new mansion tax in the upcoming Budget.

The plans were allegedly vetoed by Boris Johnson.

Plans that would also have seen owners of high value properties pay more council tax are also said to have been scrapped.
