A report by comparison site, GetAgent has revealed that the average number of days it took to sell a property was 256 in 2019.
The report reveals that the average time taken rose throughout the year, starting at 250 days in Quarter 1 and rising to 271 by the final quarter.
Eden in Cumbria had the longest average time of 393 days while the lowest was in Nuneaton & Bedworth where it took an average of 191 days to sell a property.
These selling times have been partly attributed to Brexit and the resulting uncertainty in the market.
