A real life Elf on the Shelf tale…
An estate agent – who posted footage of his agency’s Christmas tree being vandalised to Facebook – has been sent an apology letter and £30 after police were able to identify the culprit.
Speaking on the incident, the company boss Andrew Hipkiss said:
“It just goes to show what power social media can have, which enabled the national newspapers and the police to contact us. Thank you for all your support.”
