An analysis by marketing firm, Yell Business that looked at estate agent earnings in 25 countries has revealed that UK agents were the 24th lowest earners on the list with an average salary of £19,843.
The top 3 countries for estate agents were:
- Saudi Arabia: £62,931
- China: £55,481
- Brazil: £44,482
This news follows warnings from agency recruitment firm, Property Personnel, of the worst shortage of agency personnel in a generation.
Unsurprisingly, a poll this week by Estate Agent Today shows that 90% of estate agents believe they should be earning more.
